Job Summary

A growing litigation firm is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Litigation Paralegal with 1–2 years of relevant experience to join its Miami office.

\n

\n

The paralegal will work closely with attorneys in managing and advancing workers’ compensation litigation matters, with responsibility for case management, legal research, drafting and filing, discovery, and trial preparation.

\n

\n

This position is particularly well suited for a bilingual paralegal with hands-on workers’ compensation litigation experience who is comfortable managing deadlines, preparing legal documents, and supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process.

Responsibilities

    \n
  • Support attorneys throughout all phases of workers’ compensation litigation.
  • \n
  • Organize, maintain, and update litigation case files.
  • \n
  • Ensure pleadings, correspondence, discovery materials, medical records, and other case documents are accurate and readily accessible.
  • \n
  • Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy and document preparation.
  • \n
  • Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • \n
  • Coordinate and complete court and administrative filings.
  • \n
  • Assist attorneys with written discovery and other discovery-related matters.
  • \n
  • Gather, review, organize, and summarize relevant case materials.
  • \n
  • Assist with obtaining and organizing medical records and other supporting documentation.
  • \n
  • Track litigation deadlines and ensure timely completion of assignments and filings.
  • \n
  • Assist attorneys with deposition and hearing preparation.
  • \n
  • Coordinate trial preparation and related logistics.
  • \n
  • Prepare and maintain trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and other trial materials.
  • \n
  • Communicate with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and other parties as needed.
  • \n
  • Manage multiple workers’ compensation matters and competing deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Qualifications

\n
    \n
  • 1–2 years of workers’ compensation litigation experience required.
  • \n
  • Prior experience supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • \n
  • Experience organizing and maintaining litigation case files.
  • \n
  • Strong legal research and document preparation skills.
  • \n
  • Strong organizational and case-management abilities.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Ability to manage multiple cases, assignments, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • \n
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a litigation team.
  • \n
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • \n

Compensation & Professional Development

  • Salary: Up to $70,000, depending on experience.
  • \n
  • Full-time, onsite position based in Miami, Florida.
  • \n
