Workers Compensation Associate Attorney

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of New York Workers' Compensation experience, in good standing, and the ability to independently manage a busy caseload while providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full Workers' Compensation caseload from intake through resolution.
\n
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, conferences, and settlement negotiations.
\n
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide legal guidance throughout the case.
\n
• Oversee the intake process and evaluate new matters.
\n
• Supervise and mentor paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff.
\n
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all deadlines and Workers' Compensation Board requirements.
\n
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
\n
• Active New York Bar admission and good standing.
\n
• Minimum of 5 years of New York Workers' Compensation experience.
\n
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
\n
• Experience handling hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
\n
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
\n

Salary $200,000 - $220,000.
