Work includes implementation of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Flow, and Power Business Intelligent (BI)), SharePoint, Office 365, Azure products and Services, Dataverse, Drupal, Confluence, Jira, and ServiceNow. We will provide a team experienced with design, agile software development, project management, technical architecture, engineering and design, continuous integration and delivery, integration, testing, configuration management, ongoing operations and maintenance, and cloud migration.The Senior Developer provides senior-level design, coding, testing, deployment, and issue remediation across DHS platforms; leads development tasks and ensures SELC alignment. Responsibilities: Designing and developing documents and tests and maintaining applications in the following environment: Backend: .NETFrontend: React & AngularDatabase: Oracle & SQLCloud: AWS and AzureApplying expertise in software development to solving business issuesAbility to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non- technical usersPossessing good client-facing interpersonal skills (i.e., comfortable and effective acting as liaison between multiple technology groups and representing groups in large-scale meetings)Having experience in all phases of the systems engineering life cycle (SELC) including initial design/analysis through deployment.Working with analysts and customers to derive requirements for use cases/scenariosDetermining the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints, and consulting with engineering staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software.Planning, assigning work when acting in a lead role, determining designs, collecting metrics on all associated development tasks, coding, debugging, creating documentation, conducting tests and building applications on a predefined schedule.Producing and implementing design specifications, documenting design modifications and unit testing resultsIdentifying and working with strategic and technology partners to discover new product solutionsPlanning, designing and programming functionality to interface and use SQL Server or Oracle in coordination with the Database AdministratorPlanning, designing and developing user interfacesDesigning, developing and maintaining automated deployment processes and best practices for SharePoint solution deployments to multiple environments (features, WSPs, etc.)Maintaining current industry knowledge of development concepts, best practices and procedures as the technology base evolvesFacilitating meetings to determine the validity and priority of issues found within products, both internally as well as reproduced issues logged through Technical SupportInvestigating, identifying and resolving complex code issues logged internally by the QA team and externally by our clients through Technical SupportStaying current with associated technology advances in the marketplace and growing skillsTroubleshooting and resolving application issuesMay have to supervise subordinate software programmers and assist in their creation of a quality product. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an IT discipline.Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience combined in computer programming and analysis of complex information systems, application, or operating system software. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the programming languages and environment outlined above. It is desired that the caniddate be familiar with the following technologies as well: Power AutomateDrupalServiceNowDatabricksMicrosoft Certified Professional/other Microsoft certification OR ServiceNow certification.US Citizen and ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.Ability to obtain a Public Trust. Prior Public Trust or Security Clearance, preferredStrong analytical and critical-thinking abilities; able to turn ambiguous requirements into actionable plans.Proven track record mentoring developers, conducting peer code reviews, and elevating code quality (patterns, security, maintainability). Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills (analysts, architects, testers, PMs) to translate requirements into robust technical designs and reusable components.Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.
